Mr. Gunaseelan, founder of Comp to Champ Kennel, is a passionate and committed breeder of the indigenous Kombai dog, a fearless and loyal breed native to Tamil Nadu. Hailing from the Tanjore district, Mr. Gunaseelan has been involved in Kombai dog breeding for the past six years, combining his love for native breeds with a deep understanding of their temperament and traditional value.

Though professionally working as an engineer in the United Kingdom, he continues to manage and oversee his kennel operations in India with utmost dedication. His kennel houses around 25 adult Kombai dogs, each raised with care and traditional knowledge. His breeding program has produced 10 Indian Champion title winners, a testament to his expertise and commitment to excellence. Among them is the pride of the kennel — “Cholan”, widely recognized as India’s No. 1 Kombai dog, known for his outstanding structure, temperament, and ring presence.
